About Us......

QuiltEssentials, established in 2002, is a quilt shop located in downtown Laramie, Wyoming. Business hours are 10:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday-Saturday. We carry a wide variety of fabrics (reproductions, batiks, juvenile, cuddle/minky, flannel, extensive color wall) and provide a diverse range of quilting classes and quilting clubs. We strive to provide a helpful, comfortable, and joyful environment for all quilters. Mary McDonald (owner), Kathleen Bertoncelj (internet manager) and all the staff are excited to share our love and passion for quilting and fabrics with our local and visiting customers.

QuiltEssentials also established an on-line store in March, 2012. We are excited to expand our services to a wider on-line community. Follow us on facebook too!

We would love to plan something special for your group. If you have a group of 8 or more, call us and we will set something up. Private classes for groups or individuals are always a possibility.

Congratulations!

E-Mail

If you would like to receive information from QE, please send an e-mail to info@quiltessentials.org

We'll gladly update you when we have specials or important information. At this time we plan to send out 1-2 short e-mails per month. These will not be duplicates of our website, so continue to check in for news about classes, etc.

Pfaff Machines for Rent

QE has four beautiful 2010 Pfaff sewing machines available for in-store rental. Each machine rents for $5 per hour or $15 for the day. Our staff is familiar with the machines and can help you make your sewing project about the sewing, not the frustration of a machine. This is a wonderful opportunity for a new quilter to try out a machine before investing, or for a class participant who does not want to lug around a heavy machine. Machines should be reserved ahead of time.
Map to QE

We're near the corner of 2nd & Garfield Streets. In addition to street parking, the Depot parking lot is the next block over on 1st Street and is also free.
