Please contact us if you would like to schedule an individual or group class with friends. We are always pleased to accommodate your schedule with one of our experienced teachers. Our four Pfaff machines and cutting tools are also available for rent for any class. Day, evening, Monday-Saturday class times are available.
Let us know if you'll be in town with a group & QE will arrange a special time for you at the shop. We're looking forward to our friends from Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota & Texas who make QE a regular stop while retreating in the area. We always have such a good time with them!
QuiltEssentials, established in 2002, is a quilt shop located in downtown Laramie, Wyoming. Business hours are 10:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday-Saturday. We carry a wide variety of fabrics (reproductions, batiks, juvenile, cuddle/minky, flannel, extensive color wall) and provide a diverse range of quilting classes and quilting clubs. We strive to provide a helpful, comfortable, and joyful environment for all quilters. Mary McDonald (owner), Kathleen Bertoncelj (internet manager) and all the staff are excited to share our love and passion for quilting and fabrics with our local and visiting customers.
QuiltEssentials also established an on-line store in March, 2012. We are excited to expand our services to a wider on-line community. Follow us on facebook too!
We would love to plan something special for your group. If you have a group of 8 or more, call us and we will set something up. Private classes for groups or individuals are always a possibility.
Linda MacDonald has a quilt included in Lesley Riley's new book, Illustrated Quilts.
Check out Sherry Reynolds' latest article and frozen hair in the Wyoming State Quilt Guild's newsletter, Patchwords at www.WSQG.org
Her quilt, Christmas All Around, is currently in the slide rotation on the National Quilt Association's www.nqaquilts.org/ front page.
If you would like to receive information from QE, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
We'll gladly update you when we have specials or important information. At this time we plan to send out 1-2 short e-mails per month. These will not be duplicates of our website, so continue to check in for news about classes, etc.
Pfaff Machines for Rent
QE has four beautiful 2010 Pfaff sewing machines available for in-store rental. Each machine rents for $15 per class. Our staff is familiar with the machines and can help you make your sewing project about the sewing, not the frustration of a machine. This is a wonderful opportunity for a new quilter to try out a machine before investing, or for a class participant who does not want to lug around a heavy machine. Machines should be reserved ahead of time.
