Friday Finishers - New: two sessions
Get ready for QE's first Class Reunion in June by working on those UFOs with Mary in the afternoon (1-5 pm) or Stephanie in the evening (6-10 pm) on Friday, January 27. Details are on the Classes page. Registration is required and each session is independent.
Club & Class Showcase, Saturday, January 28
Join us any time between 11 am and 1 pm this Saturday to meet teachers and see club/class samples. Sign up sheets for clubs and classes will also be available then.
In addition, Kathleen will demonstrate the Twister ruler.
QE will be closed Saturday afternoon beginning at 1 pm on the 28th for a staff meeting and wil re-open at 10 am on Monday, January 30 for the final two days of our annual clearance sale.

Bag Ladies & Gents
QE is supporting environmentally-friendly efforts. Beginning on Monday, January 2, each time you bring your own shopping bag (basket, whatever) for purchases, put your name in the "Bag Lady Jar" for a prize drawing at the end of the month.

QuiltEssentials, established in 2002, is a quilt shop located in downtown Laramie, Wyoming. We carry a wide variety of fabrics and provide a diverse range of quilting classes and quilting clubs. We strive to provide a helpful, comfortable, and joyful environment for all quilters. Mary McDonald (owner), Jill Zimmermann (shop manager), Kathleen Bertoncelj (internet manager) and all the staff are excited to share our love and passion for quilting and fabrics with our local and visiting customers.
We would love to plan something special for your group. If you have a group of 8 or more, call us and we will set something up. Private classes for groups or individuals are always a possibility.

Class Reunion Days
Show what you've created lately. Or have you ever wondered what others have been making? QE's first Class Reunion day will be held on Saturday, June 9, from 1 - 3 p.m.

Pfaff Machines for Rent
QE has four beautiful 2010 Pfaff sewing machines available for in-store rental. Each machine rents for $5 per hour or $15 for the day. Our staff is familiar with the machines and can help you make your sewing project about the sewing, not the frustration of a machine. This is a wonderful opportunity for a new quilter to try out a machine before investing, or for a class participant who does not want to lug around a heavy machine. Machines should be reserved ahead of time.
