Wow! Two more Christmas collections have arrived (Judie Rothermel's Spirit of Christmas-20 bolts & Nancy's Holiday Favorites) as well as nice selections from the Civil War Journal, Civil War Ladies, Old Savannah, Railroad Ties, and Tavern Blues (black colorway) collections. We also got a lovely Civil War Journal 108" wide backing from Marcus Brothers.

By request, we now have the Fiskars spring action 8" bent scissors and Sew Easy Pajama Pants in stock as well as Quick Little Landscape Quilts. The white lead refills for Sewline pencils, magnetic snaps (antique gold & gilt finish), and Handeze therapeutic gloves are also in.

QE has a new supply of the Hint of Fall patterns from Buttermilk Basin; our sample is at the front counter along with kits.

Class Reunion Days

Show us what you've created lately. Or have you ever wondered what others have been making? QE's first Class Reunion day will be held on Saturday, June 9, from 1 - 3 p.m.

QuiltEssentials, established in 2002, is a quilt shop located in downtown Laramie, Wyoming. Business hours are 10:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday-Saturday. We carry a wide variety of fabrics and provide a diverse range of quilting classes and quilting clubs. We strive to provide a helpful, comfortable, and joyful environment for all quilters. Mary McDonald (owner), Kathleen Bertoncelj (internet manager) and all the staff are excited to share our love and passion for quilting and fabrics with our local and visiting customers.

QuiltEssentials also established an on-line store in March, 2012. We are excited to expand our services to a wider on-line community. Join us on facebook too!

We would love to plan something special for your group. If you have a group of 8 or more, call us and we will set something up. Private classes for groups or individuals are always a possibility.

"America, Let It Shine" won Best of Show and Viewer's Choice-Quilt awards at the Home Machine Quilting Show in Salt Lake City, Utah last weekend. This amazing work was designed, pieced, and quilted by Sherry Reynolds.

Mary Corcoran's Perennial Plumes quilt won an honorable mention award at the Denver National Quilt Festival VII.

The June/July issue of Quilters Newsletter features Sherry Reynolds' award-winning quilt, "America, Let It Shine" on the cover and there are good pictures in the arcticle that showcase her intricate machine quilting on the back as well as other fine details.

Pfaff Machines for Rent

QE has four beautiful 2010 Pfaff sewing machines available for in-store rental. Each machine rents for $5 per hour or $15 for the day. Our staff is familiar with the machines and can help you make your sewing project about the sewing, not the frustration of a machine. This is a wonderful opportunity for a new quilter to try out a machine before investing, or for a class participant who does not want to lug around a heavy machine. Machines should be reserved ahead of time.
